Questions, answered
What does Tabfu need from me?+
The address of your web application and, if it has a login, a test account. Then you answer a few questions: what to test, what the demo should show, British or American voiceover and the type of background music.
Is it safe to give Tabfu a password?+
Credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest and are decrypted only inside the isolated worker at the moment they are typed into your login form. They are never sent to the AI model, which only ever sees placeholders. We still recommend a dedicated test account on a staging environment.
Which AI does the testing?+
Tabfu uses Anthropic's Claude through the Claude API. A fast, low-cost Claude model drives the browser step by step and a more capable Claude model writes the reports, comparisons and training scripts. This split keeps runs economical without weakening the analysis.
Can Tabfu stress test any website?+
No. Load and stress tests only run against domains whose ownership you have verified with a DNS record or a meta tag, and they stop early when your server starts failing. Testing systems you do not own or control is forbidden by our acceptable use policy.
How do voiceover and music work?+
Voiceovers are generated with ElevenLabs in a British or American English voice. You can use our voices or connect your own ElevenLabs account to use your custom or cloned voices. Music can be our free generated ambient bed, an ElevenLabs AI composition, or a track you upload. Music automatically ducks under the voice.
What formats do I receive?+
A full report as PDF and Word, a CSV bug list ready for Jira or Azure DevOps import, raw JSON results, and MP4 videos in 1920 by 1080 with a branded title card and a caption file.
Will the AI change data in my application?+
The agent is instructed not to delete records, send real messages or payments, or change permissions unless your goals explicitly ask for it, and test data it creates is labelled "Tabfu Demo". Use a staging environment for full peace of mind.
